Client Visits
We always visit our clients personally to fully understand your business and its operation and we also get a full brief and job specification of the vacancy you need to fill.

Recruitment
We currently have a diverse register of candidates seeking employment. Including roles in: Sales, management, customer service, administration, payroll, driving and industrial. We can also advertise your vacancy free of charge through a number of channels depending on the position. i.e. – Internet, Local Papers / Magazines, Open Days etc….

Vacancy Response Management
We will manage all responses to your vacancy and interview suitable candidates. We will then create a shortlist so that you will only meet the candidates with the experience and skills that match your criteria.

Interviews
We can, if you prefer, arrange all interviews on your behalf, we have private interview facilities available at our premises, to provide you with minimal distractions away from your own office.

Honesty is our policy, and, although we endeavour to fill all your requirements, only candidates deemed suitable will be provided. If we don’t have the right person available we will tell you.

24 Hour Contact
Our office number is manned 24/7, 365 days per year. No out of hours call centres, so you will always be able to speak to an experienced consultant any time of the day or night.

Quality
All temporary applicants have pre-employment checks, to ensure they meet your requirements. These are just some of the pre-employment checks carried out by Oakwood Staff Solutions giving you peace of mind:
  • All staff are checked to ensure they are entitled to work in the UK as required by the latest legislation.
  • DVLA licence checks for drivers are carried out prior to employment and at regular intervals thereafter.
  • Our temporary workers must provide professional work references.
  • Our registration forms are designed to collate relevant information about the applicant.
  • Interview process is tailored to include the specific requirements of the client

All our temporary staff are rewarded for their loyalty and reliability, by doing so we attract and retain the best possible candidates to fill our bookings. We take responsibility for Payroll and statutory deductions for our temporary staff so you can spend more time on the things important to your business.

Temp to Perm

We are able to offer temp to perm candidates to all our clients. Terms vary depending on the requirements of the client and the type of role we are recruiting for.

The Recruitment Process

Request
Requests can be sent by any convenient communication method, phone, fax, e-mail, or by calling in at our office, whichever best suits you.

Confirmation
All requests including specifics of the role, such as job description, location, remuneration, benefits, experience, and qualifications, will be confirmed prior to sourcing relevant candidates. This ensures the candidates presented for interview meet the criteria as closely as possible.

Sourcing/Selection
Candidates will be selected from various sources which include:
  • Our own candidate database
  • Advertising
    • Local newspapers and magazines
    • Websites
    • Trade journals
    • Recruitment fares / Open days

The information collected during the earlier stages of the recruitment process will be used to identify the most suitable candidates for the role.

Interview
All potential candidates will be interviewed by ourselves prior to presentation of CV’s. All candidates will be fully briefed on the role and suitablity, experience and training verified. Once a suitable candidate has been found the CV will be sent with any other relevant information for your attention.

Placement
When a candidate has been offered the position, the fees and rebate scheme contained in our terms & conditions will apply. No fees will be due until the successful candidate begins their employment.

Review
We will contact both the client and the successful candidate on completion of the first week, at the end of the fourth week and again at the end of the rebate period to ensure that everything is running smoothly and as expected. Any issues that are identified will be resolved with you as soon as possible.
